Flea Spray - Keeping the Fleas at Bay
Fleas could cause much irritation and trouble to your pet. Fleas love to reside in your pet’s body! The fleas also tend to jump off the pet’s body into various parts of your household. Fleas are carriers of tapeworm parasites, and hence can harm human beings too.
The easiest and most effective way to check the flea population is to use anti flea sprays. These sprays could be bought in vet clinics or at online stores. When sprayed on the surface of your pet’s body, they help to prevent your pets from being troubled by the fleas.
It is also important to keep your house clean of fleas. The sprays could be used in carpets and other potential flea breeding places.
The flea sprays usually come with a distinctive smell, which may not be to the liking of most pets. Care should be taken to prevent the flea sprays from being applied on sensitive parts of the pet’s body. The vet should be consulted before you use a spray on your pet.
Homemade Spray
Some flea sprays these days come with a silent sprayer. This would prevent the hiss sound issued when spraying. This hiss could be disconcerting for some pets. One could try using white vinegar as a homemade flea control spray. When sprayed with water, the odor of the white vinegar is repulsive to the fleas keeping them away from your pets. You must consult with your pet, to ensure it doesn’t hate the smell of vinegar!!
